Update of a previous image I have done, decided to work on it a bit more and see what I could do to make it better, glad I did because I think I did improve it over all, hope you guys like.
I'm the last person in order to make critiques on other people's work so don't take me to serious! The image looks great, I like the contrasts and the colors. What it looks wrong to me is the shading of the sphere, the upper left side is way to dark related to the mountains on the same side. We can see details on the mountains but nothing on the sphere. Otherwise, the image is strike(ish) and your skills are great, wish I had such skills I gave a bit lower scores on vision and originality mainly because I've seen other images using the same wide space inside a mountain ring which looked better for me.
You succeded in capturing the scene of an impact pretty well. All the energy and the heat and the cracked ground in contrast with the cold ice and snow... It look astonishing.
The technique is very good; the lights and the shadings are in the right places. It looks realistic because of the multitude of details and of the well chosen chromatics. Likewise, you managed to embine red and blue, which are opposed chromatically. This is not easy , because you must careful making the transition from a color to the other oneor it won't look good.
Also the effects you created are very important because they help bring the watcher in the athmosphere the artist wanted to create.
I really love this, it looks like a photograph- all the textures and shading are so realistic. x_x And I love the mixture of cool and warm colours. Makes the image pop out.
